Make sure your monitor cable is plugged into your Graphics Card ports, not into onboard HDMI or other graphics display ports.

3. Modify Virtual Memory

Virtual memory allows your computer to use hard drive space as if it were extra RAM. This can help, especially if you have an SSD:

  1. Press Windows Key + R, then type SystemPropertiesAdvanced and hit Enter.

  2. Go to the Advanced tab, then click Settings.

  3. In the Virtual Memory section, click Change.

  4. Uncheck Automatically manage paging file size.

  5. Select Custom size, and set both Initial and Maximum size to a value (e.g., 8000 MB for 8 GB).

  6. Click Save.
     (If you have a second hard drive, you can use that as well.)

For those using NVIDIA graphics cards, changing the PhysX settings might help:

  1. Open the NVIDIA Control Panel.
